key responsibilities
- Assist in designing and rolling out training programs tailored to retail and outlet teams, customizing global content to fit local market needs.
- Work closely with store leadership to support business strategies through targeted training initiatives, including manager conferences and key learning events.
- Enhance the in-store customer journey by understanding consumer behavior, competitive benchmarks, and evolving industry trends.
- Implement and reinforce structured selling approaches to improve customer engagement and sales performance.
- Maintain and optimize the organization’s digital learning platform to ensure effective onboarding and continuous development.
- Conduct regular visits to stores to assess training impact, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide on-the-ground coaching.
- Establish and drive peer-led learning programs, including regional trainer networks, to support ongoing skill development.
- Support training efforts for wholesale and distribution partners, adapting materials to suit their specific operational needs.
- Gather feedback from frontline teams to refine training initiatives and identify areas for further development.
- Occasionally conduct in-store observations on weekends as needed.
qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in training and development, preferably within retail or beauty.
- Strong skills in developing engaging and impactful learning content.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a confident presentation style.
- A creative approach to training design, ensuring measurable impact on performance.
- Ability to interpret customer and business data to inform training strategies.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and stakeholders.
