Reporting directly to the Regional Head based in Singapore, the Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new business growth by acquiring clients across various industry sectors. This is a hunter role, requiring a proactive and dynamic individual who thrives in a target-driven environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the market intelligence and consumer research industry, and will focus on identifying key business opportunities, managing the sales process, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to acquire new clients in target industries such as FMCG, retail, finance, technology, and healthcare.
- Actively prospect, qualify, and engage with potential clients to understand their needs and propose tailored market intelligence and consumer research solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment on client needs and solution delivery.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiations, ensuring a consultative approach to address client requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to secure long-term business partnerships.
- Provide market feedback to help improve and refine products and services.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Prepare accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
skills and experience required
- A minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in the market intelligence or consumer research industry.
- Strong understanding of market research methodologies, data analytics, and how insights can drive business strategy.
- Proven track record of success in a hunter sales role, consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage with senior executives and build lasting relationships.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong knowledge of the Southeast Asia market will be an advantage.
