The role is within the Sales team, reporting directly to the Key Account Manager. You will be part of a dynamic team that works together to drive sales and expand the company’s reach within the designated territories.
About the Job
In this role, you will drive sales growth and meet targets within your assigned territory, while building and maintaining effective business relationships with both internal and external customers. You will service existing accounts, increase product portfolio penetration, and develop strategies to expand the customer base in retail pharmacies, medical halls, super/hypermarts, convenience stores, etc. Additionally, you will propose and execute sales expansion strategies, including new account acquisition and product penetration, while monitoring and reporting on the activities of competitors, such as pricing, product launches, promotions, and delivery schedules. You will ensure adherence to customer coverage and frequency as defined by the organization, provide excellent customer service and support, stay informed on new product developments and market intelligence, and submit regular reports, including field activity reports, sales forecasts, customer analysis, and competitive activity updates.
Skills and Experience Required
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Diploma or Degree in any relevant field, with a background in scientific disciplines or a combination of scientific knowledge and sales experience being advantageous.
- At least 3 years of sales experience in key account management, particularly in the retail pharmacy industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent business acumen, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify challenges and present solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
