Currently, they are looking for an experienced Senior Construction Cost Manager to lead and administer our construction cost control systems, supporting all data center projects across the Asia Pacific region. As a key member of our team, you will develop and implement control systems, analyze data, and produce executive-level reports to demonstrate competitive project delivery and establish strong benchmarks.
about the Role
In this critical role, you will be responsible for creating controls necessary to lead and administer the complete construction cost control systems. This includes developing control systems that drive consistent, reliable, and accurate assessments of the financial position for all construction projects. You will analyze and formulate meaningful information from large data sets using Excel and other Microsoft products, producing Executive-level/Management-level reports to share accurate financial positions.
As a Senior Construction Cost Manager, you will manage the cost coding system within the construction team and integrate it within financial systems. You will develop and implement key performance indicators to demonstrate current state project performance and detect potential issues. Collaborating closely with design, engineering, and project management teams, you will plan the project and maintain control through the project life cycle. Additionally, you will work closely with suppliers to meet financial reporting requirements and develop a program of internal and external benchmarks to enable project decision-making.
skills and experience needed
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field, along with 7-10 years of experience in construction cost management. You should possess a clear understanding of the full construction life cycle, with substantial project experience in the Asia Pacific region. Proven capability to manage cost control systems on complex projects, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with construction cost accounting software are also required.
