This is an exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal Finance Manager role, where you will oversee and manage financial and management reporting, internal controls, financial operations processes, and statutory/tax compliance at the country level. This role plays a critical part in driving financial planning, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with project teams to achieve strategic objectives.

Reporting to the Regional Group Financial Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and timely external reporting, audits, and effective cross-functional coordination with project teams. Your responsibilities will include managing monthly financial and management reporting by consolidating reports at the country level, analyzing variances, and preparing comprehensive management packs. You will lead the preparation of business plans and annual budgets, oversee cash flow management, accounts payable processes, and ensure adherence to Group policies and controls. Additionally, you will handle statutory audits, business Group reviews, and compliance with annual filings. Tax compliance will be a key focus, including reviewing corporate income tax and GST returns and providing guidance on cross-border tax implications. Staying informed about regulatory changes and implementing their implications within the organization will also be integral to your role.
Skills and experience required
- Degree holder in Finance, accounting, or relevant disciplines with professional qualifications (e.g CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Experience in large-scale organisation and prior external audit experience would be highly desirable
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
