OverviewOur client, a leading provider of advanced maritime technology and automation systems, is seeking a Service Engineer to support their regional and global customers. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver customer support, commissioning, and service for the assigned product range in maritime automation systems.
- Provide technical support and maintain strong relationships with clients across Southeast Asia.
- Perform workshop testing and technical preparations before service deployment.
- Ensure proper preparation and execution of assigned tasks, meeting performance expectations consistently.
- Generate detailed service reports, update technical documentation such as drawings and cable information, and maintain records accurately.
- Offer remote guidance and product support to customers while managing refit/retrofit project commissioning.
- Support the service team with backend technical expertise and assist the sales department with technical inquiries.
- Manage administrative duties, including pre- and post-service documentation, and handle ad hoc assignments as needed.
requirement:
- Degree / Diploma in Electronics,Electrical,Instrumentation,Mechatronics
- Min 3 years of field service experience in Shipping and/or offshore Oil & Gas installations
- Proficient in tank level gauging systems or CTMS cargo tank monitoring system
- Prior experience in the maritime industry is essential
- Willingness to travel internationally on short notice
