Role Overview:
As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on the production lines, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You will lead a skilled team, address operational challenges, and ensure adherence to company policies. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee workflow on production lines, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Manage personnel, monitor progress, adjust schedules, and report shift production results.
- Oversee workflow, manage resources, implement cost-saving measures, and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Lead and direct a team of technicians to achieve optimal performance and smooth operations.
- Drive training and development initiatives to build a self-sufficient and versatile workforce.
- Collaborate with leadership to balance cost, quality, and delivery requirements to meet production targets.
- Assess material, equipment, and manpower needs, while monitoring scrap, efficiency, yield, downtime, and overtime to meet standards.
- Actively promote process improvements with the support teams.
Skills and Competencies:
- Diploma in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical), Manufacturing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing preferred.
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and contamination control practices.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and yield optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in operating production machinery and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with a collaborative mindset.
- Availability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, in a cleanroom environment.
