About the job
You will be responsible for:
Shaping, stabilizing, and maintaining the solution architecture for bids and projects throughout all lifecycle phases
Designing and proposing innovative technical solutions that align with customer needs while adhering to the business's product/system technical strategy.
Evaluating architectural and technical choices to balance customer requirements, technical solutions, cost, and risk.
Ensuring the solution architecture is optimized to meet product requirements by:
- Identifying key architectural drivers.
- Exploring the solution space to define alternative architectural concepts and performing trade-offs, ensuring all design options are documented and decisions are justified.
- Conducting early architecture validation, including modeling and proof-of-concept activities to mitigate risks.
Develop Architectural Viewpoints to:
- Define the system breakdown.
- Lead the definition of interfaces and resolve technical conflicts among various contributors (both internal and external).
- Describe system behavior through functional flows and identify interdependencies between system components.
Specify Technical Performance Measurements (TPMs) and support their validation throughout the project lifecycle.
Document the architecture in required artifacts (e.g., Product Breakdown Structure, System of System Design Documentation).
Ensure the solution architecture remains stable and is maintained throughout its lifecycle in collaboration with the Project Design Authority (PDA) and Engineering Delivery Manager (EDM).
Assist the PDA and EDM in approving major engineering reviews and deliverables.
Review key subsystems, including Infrastructure, Platform, and Security artifacts, to ensure system requirements are understood and the design constraints are met.
Skills and experience required
As a successful applicant, you will have at least 5 years of experience in ATM Airport Traffic Management is required for this role.
