our client is a global industrial solutions provider known for their engineering expertise. We are looking for a Sourcing Engineer to support the Manager in day-to-day sourcing activities including vendors, and mechanical parts.

work closely with the Sourcing Manager to source and identify mechanical materials and vendors including quotations, proposals and bidding.
look into spend analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimisation
liaise with external vendors and internal stakeholders
communicate and conduct meetings with counterparts based in Mainland China.

skills and experience required

Diploma/Degree in Engineering specialisation
min. 2 years of relevant sourcing experience in mechanical materials
Must be able to interpret mechanical based drawings
