In this role, you will work closely with the President of Sales to handle bids, RFQs (Request for Quotation), quotations, and assemble bill of materials (BoM) for global projects. Your expertise in technical equipment and products within the outdoor broadcasting space will be crucial in providing accurate and comprehensive solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Collaborate with the President of Sales to understand client requirements and objectives for broadcasting projects.
- Review bids, RFQs, and other client inquiries to assess technical specifications and scope of work.
- Prepare quotations and proposals that align with client requirements and company capabilities.
- Create detailed bill of materials (BoM) including equipment, software, and services required for each project.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate allocation of equipment and resources for project execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the sales team during client meetings and presentations.
skills and experience required
- Proven experience in a technical pre-sales or sales engineering role within the broadcasting industry.
- In-depth knowledge of outdoor broadcasting equipment, including cameras, audio systems, transmission technologies, and production workflows.
- Strong understanding of RFQ processes, bid management, and quotation preparation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
