- Spearhead M&A transactions from inception to execution, overseeing all aspects of deal structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and integration planning.
- Lead financial analysis and valuation modelling to assess potential targets and strategic opportunities, utilizing advanced methodologies such as discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis, and accretion/dilution analysis.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external advisors to evaluate transaction risks, opportunities, and synergies, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
- Develop comprehensive transaction documents, including term sheets, purchase agreements, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating a keen understanding of legal, regulatory, and financial requirements.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on thorough market research, industry trends, and competitive analysis, guiding decision-making processes and optimizing deal outcomes.

Skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
- At least 6 years of progressive experience in corporate finance/ investment banking/ strategic advisory roles, with a focus on M&A and deal structuring.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and executing complex M&A transactions, preferably within the banking/ financial services/ insurance sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of financial modelling, valuation techniques, and due diligence processes, coupled with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
